UK oil mist collectors manufacturer Filtermist Limited has added a brand-new mounting option to its extensive product range to provide customers with even more choice.

The new Horizontal Inlet Plenum is designed to enable Filtermist oil mist filters to be connected to both horizontal and vertical extraction points either on or off the machine.

The new mount provides a simple ‘plug and play’ option for customers that have machine tools where direct mount is not an option, but the customer does not want to take up valuable floor space. It also allows Filtermist oil mist collectors to be mounted to chip conveyors or low-level stands – making it easier to service and maintain the unit.

Filtermist Limited CEO, James Stansfield, elaborates: “We are constantly looking at ways we can make life easier for our customers around the world. We already offer a wide range of mounting options designed to provide the customer with as much choice as possible including direct mount, floor stands, and machine tool and wall brackets.

“This latest addition provides even more flexibility, and we are confident that it will be well received by our customers around the world.”

The new mount is fully welded and powder coated in Filtermist’s standard colour - RAL 7035. It has a 200mm diameter spigot to easily connect to solid or flexible ducting and is designed to help prevent oil and coolant draining back down into the duct or dripping back into the machine tool when the filter is not in use.
