Absolent Filtermist India PVT Limited will be launching a brand-new Filtermist range of filter-less oil mist collectors on its stand at IMTOS 2023 next month (booth P8, hall 7C).
The AX Series, designed exclusively for manufacturers located in the APAC region, utilises Filtermist’s original centrifugal technology to provide efficiency up to 95% at 1um - with no need for expensive replacement paper filters.
The new range includes three models – AX10, AX20 and AX30, and offers airflows from 800m3/hr to 2400m3/hr. The compact and light-weight units are designed to be direct mounted to the machine tool – freeing up valuable floor-space.
Filtermist’s CEO, James Stansfield, explains; “AX units provide effective oil mist extraction for a number of applications including machining centres, lathes and grinding. Filtermist’s centrifugal technology has been developed and improved for more than 50 years so engineers can be confident they are investing in a quality solution which won’t incur high running costs. Due to the unique centrifugal collection and separation process, unlike other systems Filtermist does not require additional replacement paper filters to clean the air efficiently. This reduces running costs and the requirement to dispose of contaminated filters.”
AX was first shown at TIMTOS in Taiwan in February and made its debut in China earlier this month. The New Delhi show will be the first opportunity for Indian engineers to see the latest development in effective oil mist extraction from Filtermist.
